Refund Policy for Balivoacost.com
Last Updated: October 26, 2023
Welcome to Balivoacost.com, a premier service operated by Juara Holding, specializing in Indonesia visa consulting and facilitation. We are committed to providing transparent and efficient services to assist you with your visa applications for Bali and other parts of Indonesia. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for services rendered by Balivoacost.com. We encourage all clients to read this policy carefully before engaging our services.
Our Commitment and Service Scope
Balivoacost.com offers expert guidance, document review, application preparation, and submission assistance for various Indonesian visas, including but not limited to Visa on Arrival (VOA) and B211A visas. Our role is to facilitate the application process and provide professional consulting, ensuring your application is complete and correctly presented to the Indonesian immigration authorities. It is crucial to understand that while we strive for the highest success rates, the final decision on visa approval rests solely with the Indonesian government immigration department, and not with Balivoacost.com.
Our service fees cover the professional time, expertise, administrative costs, secure data handling, meticulous document checking, and the effort involved in preparing and managing your application up to the point of submission. These fees are distinct from any government-mandated visa fees or charges, which are typically non-refundable by the government once an application has been submitted.
Refund Eligibility Criteria
Our refund policy is structured to reflect the stages of our service delivery and the irreversible costs incurred once certain milestones are reached. Eligibility for a refund depends critically on the status of your application relative to its submission to the Indonesian government immigration authorities.
1. Cancellation Before Government Submission: 80% Refund
You are eligible for an 80% refund of the service fees paid to Balivoacost.com if you decide to cancel your application before it has been formally submitted to the Indonesian government immigration authorities. This means that if our team has not yet uploaded or physically presented your application documents to the official government portal or office, you may request a refund.
- Why 80%? The 20% administrative fee retained by Balivoacost.com covers the significant initial work already performed by our team. This includes, but is not limited to, the initial consultation, creation of your client file, secure data entry, preliminary document review, communication with our consultants, and the preparatory efforts involved in getting your application ready for submission. These are tangible services and resources expended even before the formal submission. This 20% deduction helps us recover the operational costs associated with setting up and processing your initial request, ensuring fairness to both parties.
- Definition of “Before Government Submission”: This stage is defined as any point prior to Balivoacost.com receiving official confirmation or a tracking number indicating that your application has been formally lodged with the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration or its designated online portal. We will notify you once your application has been submitted.
2. Cancellation After Government Submission: 0% Refund
Once your visa application has been formally submitted to the Indonesian government immigration authorities, no refunds (0%) of the service fees paid to Balivoacost.com will be issued. This policy is in place for several critical reasons:
- Service Rendered: At the point of submission, Balivoacost.com has fully rendered its primary service – the meticulous preparation, verification, and official lodging of your application with the government. Our expertise and efforts have been fully expended to ensure your application meets all required criteria for official review.
- Irreversible Process: Once an application is submitted to the government, it enters their processing system. Balivoacost.com has no control over the application at this stage, nor can we retrieve it or stop its processing. Government fees, if any, are almost universally non-refundable once submitted, regardless of the outcome.
- Costs Incurred: Our operational costs, staff time, and resources dedicated to your application are fully utilized and non-recoverable once the submission milestone is reached.
Exclusions from Refund Eligibility
In addition to the “After Government Submission” clause, the following circumstances also render an application ineligible for a refund of Balivoacost.com’s service fees:
- Rejection by Immigration (Not Our Fault): If your visa application is rejected by the Indonesian immigration authorities, and this rejection is due to factors beyond the control or responsibility of Balivoacost.com, no refund will be issued. Such factors include, but are not limited to:
- The applicant having a criminal record, previous immigration violations (e.g., overstaying a previous visa), or being deemed a security risk by the Indonesian government.
- Provision of fraudulent, inaccurate, or incomplete information by the applicant, even if reviewed by our team (final responsibility for truthfulness rests with the applicant).
- Changes in Indonesian immigration laws, policies, or unforeseen government directives that occur after submission and lead to rejection.
- Any personal circumstances
